Mildred Welker

Mildred Welker of Belgrade, Missouri was born on January 8, 1928, a daughter to the late Richard Beers and the late Bertha Lea (Johnson) Beers. On September 20, 1946, Mildred was united in marriage to Merlin Welker. Mildred entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 29, 2017 having reached the age of eighty-nine years, five months, and twenty-one days.

Mildred will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her two children: Mary Lands and husband Trapper, and Willard Welker and wife Kathy - both of Belgrade; sister, Edith Birmingham of De Soto; four grandchildren: Elmer Lands and wife Athena, Sam Lands and wife Amy, Rebecca Bollinger and husband Dale, and Tonja Hargiss and husband Richie; eight great grandchildren: Jesse, Falicia, Sierra, Austin, James, Caylin, Daniel, and Zach; and one great-great grandson, JJ.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Merlin Welker; brothers: Arthur, Albert, Elmer, Don, and Everett Beers; and sisters: Nellie McClain, Pearl Coplin, Lottie Logsden, and Effie Badgley.

A graveside service for Mildred will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM the Palmer Cemetery with Bro. Don Strauser officiating.
