Mildred Idelle Daily of St. Louis, Missouri departed this life on November 16, 2011 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital having reached the age of eighty seven years, three months and twenty five days. She was born on July 22, 1924 at Potosi, Missouri, a daughter to the late Russell White and Josephine (Trokey) White.
On November 9, 1944, Mildred was united in marriage to Clifford Daily. Clifford predeceased Mildred in 2007.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by a sister Betty Penson and a son in law David Politte.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Dannie Daily of Potosi; two daughters Anita Politte of St. Louis; Carolyn (Jim) Corno of Naperville, IL; brother Archie (Margie) White of Farmington; sister Linda (Kenny) Wineinger of IL; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were D.J. Politte, Mike Politte, Zachary Kennon, Jimmy Corno, Jim Corno.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
