Michael Smith

Michael David Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on October 4, 2015 at his residence having reached the age of fifty four years, five months, and nine days. He was born on April 25, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son to the late Glenn and Betty (Atchley) Smith.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife Mary Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri; four children: Michelle Boyer and husband Jason of Mineral Point, Missouri, Janelle Ferrell of Potosi, Missouri, Donna Anglin and husband Zachary of Mineral Point, Missouri, and Michael Smith, Jr. and Karyssa Snyder of Mineral Point, Missouri; two brothers: Wayne Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri and Danny Smith and wife JoAnn of Irondale, Missouri; two sisters: Donna Goodson and husband Donnie of Valley Mines, Missouri and Brenda Smith and husband Karl of Mineral Point, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Logan, Lillie, Emily, Lucas, Olivia, Zachary, Jr., and John Thomas; and also many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his grandmother Ione Valdes.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 - 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 8, 2015 beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of service. A funeral service for Michael will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Guy Conway officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the New Diggins Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
