Michael Ray Riddle of Old Mines, Missouri was born on June 24, 1947 in Cadet, a son to the late Leman Riddle and the late Annie Marie (Glore) Riddle. On May 27, 1967, Mike was united in marriage to Mary Diane Coleman and they shared fifty years together.
Mike entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home at the age of seventy.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Riddle of the home; two sons: Shane Riddle of Old Mines, Steve (Jessica) Riddle of Old Mines; two brothers: Kenny Riddle of Old Mines; Allen Riddle of Potosi; seven grandchildren: Stevie (Alex) Nelson, Lydia Riddle, Ella Riddle, Beau Riddle, Jake Coffey and Hannah Weston, Blaine Riddle and Madison Marler, Kennedi Riddle, Pheabie Wilson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ping Bouresaw, Elaine and Jerry Juliette, Debbie and Mike Coleman and Yogi Coleman; also surviving are nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by three brothers: Gary, Larry and Dennis Riddle.
Mike enjoyed life. He loved serving others and helping out in any way that he could. Mike had a great sense of humor. Mike loved to joke around and enjoyed many laughs. Mike was an honest man. What you saw was who he was. He enjoyed going hog hunting and going to shooting matches. However, above the many things that Mike loved to do, spending time with his family was most important. Mike's memories will forever live on in our hearts. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 3:30-8 p.m. and Friday, December 29, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. held at the St. Joachim Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Dattilo officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the St. Joachim Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
