Michael Politte

Michael David Politte of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on April 9, 2013 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of fifty five years, three months and twenty six days. He was born on December 14, 1957 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a son to the late Clarence W. Politte, Jr. and Aleen (Dodson) Politte.

In addition to his parents, Mick was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Politte, sister in law Rita Politte and brother in law Jerry Litherland.

Mick was a member of the Unity Baptist Church.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are a son Jeremy Politte of Illinois; four sisters Gloria Sancegraw and husband Frank of Potosi, Patsy Skiles and husband Chuck of Hopewell, Betty Nixon and husband Mike of Hopewell, Nanette Litherland of Park Hills; brother Edward Politte of Irondale; sister in law Janet Politte of Potosi; long time friend Gerald Lee Poucher of Hopewell; one granddaughter Haelee Politte of Irondale; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Guy Conway officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Edward Politte, Gerald Lee Poucher, Mark Sancegraw, Larry Lee, Jimmy Cain, Bobby Smith and Jerry Nelson.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Hopewell Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
