Melody Duncan

Melody Antoinette Duncan of Tiff, Missouri departed this life on January 13, 2006 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, having reached the age of 39 years, 4 months and 6 days. She was born at St. Louis, Missouri on September 7, 1966, a daughter of Jannie Boyer and the late Joseph Johnson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Duncan and by a brother, Jeffrey Johnson.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are her mother Jannie Boyer of Tiff; her sons, Michael Gillenwater of Bonne Terre, Christopher Gillenwater of Charleston, and Harley Johnson of Tiff; her sisters, Sandra Short of Union and Michelle Perry and husband Scott of Bonne Terre; a brother Terry Johnson of Tiff, a half-brother Andrew Johnson of Cadet and a half-sister Margaret Missey of Blackwell.

There will be a memorial service for Melody on Saturday, January 21, 2006, 2:00 P.M. at the Tiff House of Prayer with Rev. Lindell Johnson and Rev. Martha Schaffecotte officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
