Melissa Declue

Melissa A. DeClue of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on November 19, 2008, having reached the age of thirty nine years, ten months and twenty nine days. She was born on December 21, 1968 at Potosi, Missouri, a daughter of the late Paul Evans, Sr. and Ruth Link Evans.

Melissa attended Living Waters Tabernacle. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. Even though she had very little, her heart compelled to give a lot. Giving brought her joy. Regardless of her many health problems, Melissa enjoyed life and made the best of each day. She loved gathering with family and friends the most and the more the merrier.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband Tom DeClue of Potosi; two sons Michael Rulo and Christopher Rulo of Potosi; three step daughters, Mary DeClue of Union; Jennifer DeClue of Potosi; Susan DeClue of Farmington; grandchildren, Mark Ingram, Jr. of Bell; Lilly Declue of Union; sister Donna Evans of Potosi; brother Paul Evans and wife Tina of Caledonia; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Services were conducted November 21, 2008 at 12 PM at the Britton Chapel of Potosi, with Rev. Keith King officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
