Max Edward Midgett of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on October 29, 2011 at his residence having reached the age of eighty two years, four months and four days. He was born on June 25, 1929 at Quaker, Missouri a son to the late James Hance Midgett and Ada Catherine (Jennings) Midgett.
Max was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his parents, Max was preceded in death by an infant baby sister, sister Carrie A. Brand, two brothers Hadley L. Midgett, Robert R. Midgett, brother in law Norton Brand and sister in law Luna Midgett.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Ali Bea Midgett of Potosi; two sons Perry (Kathy) Midgett of Arvada, Colorado; Mark (Cathy) Midgett of Denver, Colorado; grandchild Carrie Leigh (Keith) Ayoub of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Michael Midgett of Denver, Colorado; step grandchild Danielle Padilla of Denver, Colorado; six great grandchildren Zachary Ayoub, Christopher Ayoub, Nicholas Ayoub, Jonathan Ayoub; two step great grandchildren Marrissa Duran, Ameliano Duran; two sisters Nellie Miller of O'Fallon, Missouri, Galena (David) Pischell of Bridgeton, Missouri; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 10 AM at DeClue Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Johns, Larry Johns, Rickey McLean, Gary L. Blair, Don Moses and David Pischel.
Interment and final prayers were held at Antioch Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
