Matthew Aaron Pierce of Belgrade, Missouri was born on July 6, 1991 in Farmington, Missouri a son to Thomas Frank Pierce and Pamela Sue Dennis. Matthew passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 having reached the age of twenty five years, four months and seventeen days.

On April 19, 2014 Matthew was united in marriage to Randi Goggin.

Matthew is survived by his by his wife Randi Pierce of Belgrade; parents Thomas Pierce of Desloge; Pamela and Kelly Richardson of Irondale; brother Andrew Pierce and wife Tabby of Desloge; sister Alex Allison and husband Cody of Centerview, Missouri; grandparents Jim and Marty Webb of Clinton, Missouri; Zelma Pierce of Farmington; also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of amazing friends and his beloved dogs Duke and Daisy.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfather Carl H. Pierce.

Matthew was a graduate of Valley High School class of 2010. Matthew was a loving and caring husband, son, brother and friend. He loved his two pit bulls Duke and Daisy like they were his children. He had an amazing personality that could make everyone laugh and smile with his humor and silly faces. He could make anyone's day better. He cared so much about his friends and would do anything for them. He made friends anywhere he went. Matthew loved his job as a maintenance worker at Iron Mountain Trap Rock Quarry. He loved so much. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Matthew cared for everyone and lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A time of Visitation was held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

Memorials contributions may be made to the Matthew Pierce Memorial Fund in care of the DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, Missouri 63664.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
