Matthew Kearns

Matthew Edwin Kearns of Belgrade, Missouri was born on September 7, 1965 in Sullivan, Missouri, a son to Edwin L. Kearns and Ellen W. (Gillman) Kearns. Matthew entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 having reached the age of fifty-two years and twenty-seven days.

Matthew will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his children: Joshua Kearns and wife Angela of Belgrade, Jordan Kearns and wife Tricia of Farmington, Alexandria Kearns of Farmington, and Kaitlyn Kearns of Farmington; father and mother, Edwin and Ellen Kearns of Bismarck; brother, Jeffrey Kearns and wife Kristen of St. Charles; seven grandchildren: Cloe, Cole, Daisy, Joshua, Penelope, Jared, and Phoebe; also surviving are many extended family members and dear friends.

Matthew is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Margie Kearns; and his maternal grandparents: Went and Virginia Gillman.

Visitation for Matthew will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 7, 2017, beginning at 11:00 AM.

A funeral service will begin on Saturday, October 7, 2017. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Gibson officiating assisted by Rev. Dwight Jones. Interment and final prayers will be held at the Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade, Missouri.
