Mary Yvonne (Schrum) Wilkson of House Springs, Missouri passed away on September 27, 2015 at the St. Anthony's Medical Center having reached the age of sixty five years, eleven months, and twenty days. She was born on October 7, 1949 in Potosi, Missouri to the late Hueston and Margaret (Politte) Schrum.
On August 8, 1970, Mary was united in marriage to Larry Wilkson at the Potosi United Methodist Church and spent nearly 45 years together.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband Larry Wilkson of House Springs, Missouri; daughter Lori Wilkson Kirchner of House Springs, Missouri; step-son Mark Wilkson and wife Tracy of St. Peters, Missouri; four siblings: Claudia Creaven and husband John of South Carolina, Harry Schrum and wife Sandee of Potosi, Missouri, Tony Schrum and wife Tina of Terre Du Lac, Missouri, and Gail Boyer and husband John of Tiff, Missouri; one grandchild Hayden Kirchner; puppies Mack and Nikki; cat Peanut; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to garden and spending time with her family and friends. She was always happy to put others before herself. Mary loved doing projects with her husband Larry and discussing their strong conservative beliefs. Her favorite past time was spent with her daughter Lori and precious granddaughter Hayden and spoiling her cat Peanut. She also looked forward to her get-aways with her sisters. Mary will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday evening, September 30, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and will resume on Thursday, October 1, 2015 beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of service. A funeral service for Mary will begin at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 1, 2015 with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TASK (Team Activities for Special Kids) - 980 Horan Dr, Fenton, MO 63026. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
