Mary Walker

Mary Elizabeth Walker of Bonne Terre, Missouri departed this life March 4, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of seventy six years, six months and fourteen days. She was born on August 18, 1933 at Alligator, Mississippi a daughter to the late Walter Tucker and Lola (Caples) Tucker.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Donald Abraham Cohen, grandparents Virgie Golf Tucker, Madison Lorenzo Tucker, Allen Caples, Nancy Chandler Caples; a son Donald Cohn; three brothers Jimmy Tucker, Curtis Tucker, Herman Tucker; sister in law Betty Tucker and a niece Sharon Smith.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are four sons Charles ?Chuck? Cohn and wife Richie of Caseyville, Illinois; Phillip Cohn and wife Linda of Collinsville, Illinois; Eldon Walker of Fredericktown; James ?Jimmy? Walker of Bonne Terre; two daughters Diana Cohn of Troy; Judy Mercer and husband Bill of Richland; three sisters Eleanor Leroy and husband Bill of Caseyville, Illinois; Rosemary ?Rosie? Tucker of Bonne Terre; Violet Statzel of Desoto; aunt Mildred Thurbush of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 3 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Gary Leggans officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tommie Branham, David Reed, Clifton Copeland, Tommie Branham, II, Bill Mercer, Jerry Pemberton, David Rail and Johnny White.

Interment and final prayers were held at Bonne Terre Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
