Mary Prusia

Mary Helen Prusia of Ironton, Missouri was born on August 2, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a daughter to the late William Garvey Bridgeman and the late Helen Marie (Brunkhorst) Bridgeman. Mary departed this life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at her residence having reached seventy-one years of age.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother, William “Bill” Bridgeman; and her best friend, Shelia Wood.

Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her three Godchildren: Jessica (Michael) Rodgers, Jodi (Greg) Boyer, and Joshua Henson; grandchildren: Kyle, Alivia, Gavin, and Carr; nephew, Sam Bridgeman; and niece, Mandy Pryor; also surviving are many dear extended relatives and dear friends.

Visitation for Mary was held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 9:00 AM. A memorial service began at 11:00 AM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Honoring Mary by serving as her pallbearers were Michael Rodgers, Greg Boyer, Kyle Boyer, Sam Bridgeman, David Henson, and Eric Skaggs; honorary pallbearers – Jodie Boyer and Jessica Rodgers.

Interment and final prayers were held at Cape County Memorial Park at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Cape County Memorial Park is located at 2315 US-61, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
