Mary Lou Woods

Mary Lou (Taylor) Crump-Woods of Mineral Point, Missouri went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 14, 2018 having reached seventy-eight years of age. Mary Lou was born on July 10,1940 in Potosi, Missouri, a daughter to the late August Albert Taylor and the late Tressie (Isgriggs) Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmo Crump; three step-sons: Dennis Woods, Steve "Butch" Woods, and Tracy Woods; daughter-in-law, Chris Woods; son-in-law, Joe Kean and siblings: Norma Lea Taylor, Betty Jean Taylor, Patricia Taylor, Linda Taylor, Gerald Taylor, Lindo Taylor, and Albert "Boots" Taylor.

Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Gene Woods; two children: Angie (Stanley) Conway and Rev. Matthew (Michelle) Woods; six step-children: Carol Herrington, Debbie Woods, Judy Scott, Vickie (David) Gipson, Stacey (Sheri) Woods, and Denise Kean; siblings: Arlene Fann, Lois (Dee) Wade, and Gale (Mary Lee) Taylor; two grandchildren: Brady Woods and Justin Conway and Fiancé,Cadence; three great-grandchildren: Cailey, Coraline, and Ruger; and a host of step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, held at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday, July 19, 2018, held at Hopewell Church of God, beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of service.

A home-going service will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 19, 2018, held at Hopewell Church of God, with Bishop Tommy Powell officiating assisted by Pastor Sheldon Marler and Pastor Matt Woods.

Interment and final prayers will be held at Hopewell Cemetery, Mineral Point. All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of DeClue Funeral Home.
