Mary "Janie" Wade

September 29, 1951 — March 25, 2022

Mary Jane Wade, also known to family and friends as “Janie”, of Hillsboro, Missouri, was born on September 29, 1951, in Potosi, Missouri, a daughter of the late Ralph Boyster and Mary Evelyn (Revelle) Boyster. She was the 11th born out of 14 children. Mary Jane passed away at Mercy Jefferson Hospital on Friday, March 25, 2022, having reached the age of seventy years, five months, and twenty-four days.

On June 15, 1970, Mary Jane was united in marriage to Phillip Vern Wade, and spent nearly 44 years together. From this union, 5 children, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren were conceived.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Tim Wade (wife, Tiffany), Corey, Brandon, and adopted, but not adopted son, Kevin King; grandchildren: Elijah Kean, Garrett Bjork and wife Kiersten, Madison Nichols, Matthew Wade, and Dylan Wade; great grandchildren: Ezekiel Kean, Milani Nichols, Mila Nichols, William Bjork, and Olivia Bjork; sisters: Patsy Govero, Nancy Bouse, Debbie Skaggs (husband, Dan); brothers: Ronnie Boyster (wife, Betty), and Johnny Boyster (wife, Carol). Janie is also survived by several extended family and friends.

Janie is preceded in death by her husband Vern Wade; daughters: Stacie Jo, and Becca; Parents, Ralph and Mary Boyster; brothers: Leonard Boyster (wife, Reva), Junior Boyster (wife, Elsie), Bob Boyster, Bill Boyster (wife, Rose), Jackie Boyster, and Edward Boyster; sisters: Lettie Mae Richards (husband, Walt), and Peggy Boyster; sister-in-laws: Darlene Boyster and Linda Scott; and brother-in-law, Floyd Lee Wade.

Janie had a very loving marriage to Vern for 44 years. She adored her family and would do anything she could for them, even if it meant that she would do without. She was a very stubborn woman, too. If she got something in her head, you could guarantee that she was going to get it done. She had the kindest heart, the sweetest voice, and a great sense of humor-even though sometimes it was a bit twisted. She always trusted in the Lord. No matter what was going on in her life, she always turned to God. She set a good example of how to live life. She always had an open ear if you needed to talk, and an open kitchen if you needed to eat. She was the most caring and loving person. If her boys had a million years to explain how they loved her, it wouldn't be enough time. She will be truly missed by everyone that knew her.

A Visitation for Janie will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 9 to 11 am.
