Mary Dicus

Mary Lou Dicus of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on August 8, 2011 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy three years, eleven months and seventeen days. She was born on August 22, 1937 at Weingarten, Missouri a daughter to the late Orville Shearin and Norma (Beers) Shearin.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Dicus, son James Dicus, husband Johnnie Dicus, two brothers Jewel “Red” Shearin, Robert “Bob” Shearin, nephew Steve Shearin, sister in law Betty Shearin, brother in law Howard “Leroy” Volner.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are three daughters Annie Dicus of Potosi, Linda White of Farmington, Wanda (Jim) Revelle of Potosi; two brothers Raymond “Pete” Shearin of Arizona; Charlie (Dolly) Hill of Caledonia; sister Hilda Volner of Potosi; sister in law Jaunita Shearin of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
