Mary Bliss

Mary Frances Bliss of Potosi, Missouri entered into rest on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital having reached the age of seventy five years, two months and fifteen days. She was born on October 18, 1939 in Cadet, Missouri, a daughter to the late Arthur Henry Minx and Ollie Frances (Brimm) Minx.

On November 28, 1959, Mary was united in marriage to Clarence Delbert Bliss in Potosi, Missouri and they shared fifty five years together.

She is survived by her beloved husband Delbert Bliss of Potosi, Mo; one daughter Dawn L. Risher and husband Bill of Maryland Heights, Mo; two sons Delbert Lee Bliss and wife Chung Hui of Korea; Bryan Bliss of St. Louis, Mo; brother Bernard Minks and wife Betty Ann of St. Clair, Mo; sister Betty Bobo of Terre Du Lac, Mo; brother James Minx of Stanton, Mo; sister Barbara Ruth Winkleman and husband Jim; four grandchildren Salina Bliss and husband Eric Rohr; Justin Bliss; Kevin Petterson; Daniel Risher and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two sisters Ann Thomas and Shirley Kirby; an infant sister and one brother Bryce Minx.

Visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street Potosi, Missouri 63664.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 12:00 Noon held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mark Wilkinson officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Potosi United Methodist Church Food Pantry 1202 Richeson Road Potosi, Missouri 63664.
