Mary Badgley

April 3, 1924 — December 30, 2012

Mary Addaliza Badgley of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on December 30, 2012 at her residence having reached the age of eighty eight years, eight months and twenty seven days. She was born on April 3, 1924 in Rockwood, Illinois a daughter to the late John Kirk and Emma (Saverhague) Gretzmacher.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Badgley; two brothers Albert Kirk, Kenneth Kirk and stepfather Gussie Gretzmacher.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Gilbert Badgley of Caledonia; daughter Sandra Barnes of Potosi; brother John (Jeanne) Kirk of Columbia, Illinois; sister in law Ella Mae Kirk of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren Michael (Donna) Badgley of St. Charles; Michelle Barillier of Troy; Stephen Benson of Potosi; Tanya (Charles) Calello of Brooklyn, N.Y.; great grandchildren Sydney Barillier, Jake Badgley, Quinn Badgley; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Stephen Benson, Michael Badgley, Tanya Calello, Sydney Barillier, Raymond Powers and Ryan Harris. Honorary pallbearer was Jake Badgley.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
