Marvin Arthur “Mustang” Eckhoff of Leadwood, Missouri was born on January 31, 1955 in St. Louis, a son to Leona Mae (McGee) Eckhoff and the late Floyd Sylvester Eckhoff. Marvin passed away on June 14, 2024 having reached 69 years of age.
Marvin loved his family very much. He came from a musically inclined family and was talented at playing his guitar. Throughout his life, a couple of Marvin’s hobbies included fishing and hunting. His most favorite pastime, however, was watching wrestling. Marvin found great joy in helping people any chance he could get. Over the years, Marvin purchased many used bikes and would fix them up for children in need. Through this, he became passionate about the charity bike ride “Bikers for Babies.” He embraced his nickname “Mustang” and rode for miles on end. Above all, Marvin was proud of his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He loved them dearly, including his dog “Tiny Boss Hog Eckhoff.”
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his mother, Leona Eckhoff; five children: Tasha Webb, Brad Eckhoff, Bill Eckhoff, Tim Eckhoff and Crystal Eckhoff; a host of grandchildren; six siblings: Susan Eckhoff Gould, Linda (Robert) Ross, Beth (Kevin) McCoy, Floyd Wayne Eckhoff, Alan Eckhoff and Darrell (Shannon) Eckhoff; and his dog, Tiny Boss Hog Eckhoff. Marvin also leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, Floyd “Ticky” Eckhoff, Marvin was preceded in death by his aunt, Reena Eckhoff; and many dear relatives.
