Martha Worden

February 24, 1920 — November 4, 2009

Martha ?Marie? Worden of Farmington, Missouri departed this life on November 4, 2009 at her residence having reached the age of eighty nine years, eight months and eleven days. She was born on February 24, 1920 at Viburnum, Missouri a daughter to the late Wilburn Thomas and Eva (Beers) Thomas.

Marie was a member of the Belgrade Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her first husband James Millard Payne; her second husband Joseph Worden; daughter Dorothy Boyer; step son Murphy Worden; brother Earl Thomas and a sister Kathern Barr.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are four sons Jim Payne of Cuba; Ray Payne of Bourbon; Harvey Payne and wife Johnnie Sue of Farmington; Robert Payne and wife Terry of Farmington; daughter Wilda Payne of Farmington; step son Joe Worden and wife Georgia of Irondale; four step daughters Delores Owens of Potosi; Doris Hull of Ironton; Janet Kerns and husband Donnie of Irondale; Connie Sadler and husband Larry of Caledonia; two brothers Harvey Thomas of St. James; Elwood Thomas and wife Linda of Belgrade; four sisters Violet Jacobsen of Nevada; Mae Docking and husband Caroll of Tennessee; Mary Martin and husband Jim of California; Lurie Belfield of Belgrade; thirty four grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 10:30 AM ? 3:30 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 7 at 3:30 PM at the DeClue Chapel.

Interment and final prayers will be held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
