Martha Madry

Martha Madry of Potosi, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, having reached the age of seventy six years, two months and eighteen days. She was born on January 27, 1940 in Glencoe, Missouri, a daughter to the late Donald Hanlon and Edna (Lony) Hanlon.

She is survived by her seven children: Laura King and husband Steve of Potosi, Kathleen Oloyed and husband Gary of Lonedale, Missouri, Donald Raymond Madry of Potosi, Christina Patterson and husband Thomas of Cadet, Leslie VanDyke of Potosi, Debra Madry of House Springs and David Madry and wife Melissa of Park Hills; four siblings Donald T. Hanlon of House Springs, Devon Hanlon of Oregan, Ida Sergant and husband Don of Houston, Missouri and James Hanlon and wife Angie of Eureka, Missouri; twenty one grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; also surviving are other extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert Madry on December 1, 1995, great granddaughter Ashia and her sister Maude Hanlon.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 5-8 pm and Monday, April 18, 2016 from 10 am until 1 pm at the DeClue Funeral Home.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1 pm held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Wilson officiating.

Honoring Martha by serving as her pallbearers were DJ Madry, Nick Compton, Ross Holdman, Mark Thomas, Jeff Gaines, Andrew VanDyke, Matt Madry, Caleb Lester, and Blake Madry.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
