Mark Cash Thompson of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on June 14, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of fifty four years, four months and ten days. He was born on February 4, 1959 in St. Charles, Missouri a son to the late Charles Thompson and Fredia (Gordon) Thompson.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a sister Penny Pratt and a brother Lloyd Thompson.
On November 21, 1978, Mark was united in marriage to Melinda Winick and they shared thirty four years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Melinda Thompson of Potosi; son Mark Aaron Thompson of Potosi; God daughter Vanessa Jenkins and husband Adam of Potosi; mother in law Shirley Winick of Potosi; three sisters in law Julie Kircher and husband Kenny Kircher of Potosi, Shirley Kircher and husband David of Dittmer, Joni Gehrs of Arkansas; brother in law Orville Winick, Jr. and friend Lu Ann Barbee of Potosi; two sisters Charlotte Lewis and life partner Gwen White of Indiana, Marie Inez Trotter and husband Bill of Protem, Missouri; four brothers Cecil Thompson and wife Kimberly of Louisiana, Warner Thompson and fiancé Neda Hedrick of Iowa, "Rocky" William Thompson and wife Dawn of Indiana, Charles Thompson and wife Janice of Alabama; three grandchildren Blake A. Thompson of Old Mines, Malea Ria C. Jenkins of Potosi, Coteney E. Jenkins of Potosi; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 2 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Brown officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Kenneth Kircher, Jr., Kenneth Kircher, Adam Jenkins, Daeton DeGrant and Orville Winick, Jr. and Patrick Thompson.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Winick Family Cemetery, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
