Mark Leiwe

Mark Kenneth Leiwe of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on January 11, 2006 on Old Hwy 8 East as the result of a vehicle accident. Mark was 50 years, 3 months and 17 days old when he passed through this life. He was born on September 24, 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri to Eleanor (Mueller) Leiwe and the late Theodore Leiwe.

He was united in marriage to Janet Sue Kinder on February 14, 1986 at Benton, Missouri. They shared almost twenty years of marriage together.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his wife, Janet Sue Leiwe of Mineral Point; his mother, Eleanor Leiwe of St. Peters; his sons, Scott Sansoucie and wife Janet of Mineral Point, Rick Sansoucie and wife Shirley of Belleview, and Mike Sansoucie of Doe Run; a daughter, Janet Cain of Potosi; two sisters, Sister Betty Leiwe, CSJ of St. Louis and Pat Stern and husband Kenneth of St. Peters; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three nieces, Christine, Karen and Kathy; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri, with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Scott Sansoucie, Sr., Scott Sansoucie, Jr., Ted Hochstatter, Randy Dicus, Bill Dwyer, Sr. and Bill Dwyer, Jr.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
