Marilyn Turnbough

July 16, 1951 — April 19, 2010

Marilyn Turnbough of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 19, 2010 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of fifty eight years, nine months and three days. She was born on July 16, 1951 at Ironton, Missouri a daughter to the late Walter Allen and Jane (Riehl) Allen.

On May 16, 1982, Marilyn was united in marriage to Neil Turnbough and they shared twenty seven years.

Marilyn was a member of the Potosi Southern Baptist Church. She was the owner of Marilyn?s Klassy Cuts and served our community as a local beautician for several years.

Marilyn was a selfless lady. She would always go out of her way to do something for someone whether it be baking a favorite dish, cooking dinner, or giving a gift. She made every holiday special and special occasions extra special. She loved working outside keeping the lawn and flowers, trees, and squirrels. Marilyn loved to shop and find a bargain. Last but certainly not least Marilyn loved her family with all of her heart. She adored her grandkids and loved them very much.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Neil Turnbough of Potosi; son Kelly Bouse and wife Cindy of Potosi; daughter Marty Portell and husband Jared of Potosi; step-daughter Dawn Turnbough; four grandchildren Rachel Jarrell, Sam Bouse, Hallie Portell and Taylen Portell; step-granddaughter Cara Will; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Mike Jarvis officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jason Eaton, Mark Casey, Bob Daughtery, Jason Portell, Dennis Finley, and Mark Schutte.

Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
