Marie Courtois

Marie Elizabeth Courtois of Potosi, Missouri entered into rest on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, having reached the age of eighty five years and six months. She was born on August 14, 1929 a daughter of the late Virgil Parsons and Anna Raybrook Parsons. Survivors include two sons Ronnie Clapp and wife Sally, Jeffrey Clapp and wife Tina; two daughters Bonnie Nace, Faye Smith Craft and husband Buddy; one brother John Parsons; one sister Ruth Ann Brayfield and a host of grandchildren, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her first husband Tillman Clapp Sr. and second husband Richard Courtois; four sons Donnie Clapp, Tillman Clapp Jr., Lonnie Clapp and Dennis Clapp; one daughter Donna Davis; one grandson Jason Clapp; one granddaughter Sarah Ann Clapp; and one brother Virgil Buddy Parsons. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, February 18 at 1:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Nash officiating. Honoring Marie by serving as her pallbearers were Gary Smith, Jr., Moose Clapp, Chris Clapp, Nathan Clapp, Gary Smith III, and Gabriel Smith. Interment took place at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
