Marian Puckett

Marian Georgia Puckett, of Potosi, Missouri, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home at the age of 94. She was born on April 28, 1921, a daughter of the late Price Evans and Jennie (Benoist) Evans.

Georgia is survived by her beloved son Edgar John Puckett and wife JoAnn of Potosi, Missouri; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Anna Evans of St. Peters, Missouri; Sharon and Robert Puckett of Potosi, Missouri; Velma Copeland and Anna Mae Shomo both of O’Fallon, Missouri; grandson John David Puckett and granddaughter Tiffany Puckett; also surviving are nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Edgar Jesse Puckett; sisters Mildred Evans; Marjorie Walls; Hilma Haeusler; brother Arthur Evans and numerous relatives and in-laws.
Visitation was held at the DeClue Funeral Home, Monday, August 31, 2015 from 4:30 until 8:00 pm. Visitation continued on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
A funeral service for Georgia was conducted on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm held at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church.

Honoring Georgia by serving as her pallbearers were John David Puckett, Jeff Richards, Jeff Higginbotham, Rev. Richard Notgrass, Dennis Evans, and Shane Tucker.

Interment took place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
