Mara Hastings

Mara Dee Hastings of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on June 9, 2016 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy seven years, three months, and twenty six days. She was born on February 14, 1939, in Hollis, Oklahoma, a daughter to the late Kenneth Weddle and the late Margaret (Walker) Weddle.

Mara is survived by her son James Davis, Jr. and wife Tammy of Cadet; Cheri Goldsmith and husband Mike of Mineral Point; two sisters: Joane Veloz of California and Elayne Beatte of Colorado; ten grandchildren: Sammy, Gary, Eva, Damien, Jason, Kenneth and wife Kristina, Michael, Briana and husband Mark, Shelley and husband Ruben, and Michael and wife Shelia; seven great grandchildren: Audrey, Alegha, Adrianna, Hannah, Mark, Jr., Matthew, and Anthony; and also surviving are many other extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mara is preceded in death by her beloved husband: William Hastings; sister Donna Hodd; and the father of her children: James Davis, Sr.
