Mamie Ames

Mamie Marie Ames, 72, Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on August 1, 2007 at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of 72 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was born on January 26, 1935 at Mineral Point, Missouri, a daughter of the late Clinton Nash and Mary Stredar Nash.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved her family and she especially loved animals. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her sons, Donald Ames and wife Connie of Potosi, Ronnie Ames of Pilot Knob, Russell Ames and friend Dot Reando of Potosi, Mark Ames and fiance? Debbie of Irondale, Ricky Ames and friend Holly of Mineral Point; her daughters, Edna Marler and friend David of Potosi, Pam Ames-Rolufs and husband Larry of Jefferson City; two brothers, Daniel Nash of Cadet, Richard Nash of Berryman; several grandchildren, nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends.

There will be a private held by the family for Mamie at a later date. Arrangements by Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
