Macklin Farmer

May 7, 1923 — February 20, 2012

Macklin Bailey Farmer of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on February 20, 2012 at the John Cochran VA Medical Center having reached the age of eighty eight years, nine months and thirteen days. He was born on May 7, 1923 in Maryland, a son to the late John Farmer and Ethel (Pratt) Farmer.

In addition to his parents, Macklin was preceded in death by his wife June Farmer.

Those who remain to mourn his death are his three sons Daniel Farmer of Wright City; Bob Farmer of Leadwood; Mike Farmer of Wortham; step son David Green and wife Martha of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; one sister Connie Smith of Rushville, Missouri; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

A Memorial service was held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Don Strauser officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Full Military Honors by the the United States Army on behalf of Mr. Farmer's service to our great Nation. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
