Loyd Lawson

Loyd Lawson of Potosi, Missouri, was born on October 3, 1942, a son to the late Earl Lawson and the late Gurlean (Bowles) Lawson. On January 25, 1964 Loyd was united in marriage to Connie Snowdell and they shared 55 years together.

Loyd went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, August 8, 2019 having reached the age of seventy-six years, ten months and five days.

Loyd is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Connie Lawson; three children: Steven (Vicki) Lawson, Lisa R. Lawson, and Kimberly Macklin and Wayne Arnold; two granddaughters: Sarah Hinrichs and Daniel Tayson, and Kayci (Levi) Moss; seven great grandchildren: Tyler, Kylehn, Richy, Christina, DaKota, Douglas Jr., and Lane; two brothers: Terry (Patti) Lawson and Daniel (Sandy) Lawson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Doris Lawson, Rita and Marvin Bowles, Betty Turner and Cleatis Snowdell; also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Loyd was preceded in death by his father, Earl Lawson; mother, Gurlean Lawson Robinson; step father, Raymond Robinson; grandson, Jeffrey Kyle Darling; two brothers: Gene Lawson and Floyd Lawson; step sister, Carolyn Mallow; step brother, Charles Robinson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Alice Snowdell.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 4:30-8:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 11 AM until 2 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2 PM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel.
