Louise Richards

Louise Richards of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on February 14, 2012 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of eighty nine years and one day. She was born on February 13, 1923 at Washington County, Missouri a daughter to the late William Smith and Letitia (Burghard) Smith.

Louise was a member of the Furnace Creek Church of God.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Smith, great granddaughter Shana Pruitt and two great great grandchildren Raven Pruitt and Madison Tracey.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Larry (Sue) Richards of Potosi; three daughters Patsy Blair of Potosi; Evelyn Lamkey of Potosi; Carol Carter of Mount Vernon; brother Willard Smith of Potosi; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on February 17, 2012 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Eugene Smith, Arthur Smith, Wayne Lamkey, Laney Patton, Greg Carter and Jeff Vance.

Interment and final prayers were held at Hopewell Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
