Louise Mahurin

December 23, 1930 — March 19, 2010

Louise Marie (Mitchell) Mahurin of Mineral Point, formerly of Desloge, Missouri departed this life on March 19, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of seventy nine years, two months and twenty four days. She was born on December 23, 1930 at Elvins, Missouri a daughter to the late Thomas Mitchell and Esther (Hulsey) Mitchell.

Louise was a member of Gumbo First Church of God. She loved her family, kids and grandkids. Some of her favorite hobbies were yard sales, flea markets, auctions, cooking and camping. She loved praising the Lord.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband Lenvel Mahurin on August 20, 2003, a brother Leroy ?Peck? Mitchell and a sister Christine Mitchell.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Wayne Mahurin and wife Sharon of Desloge; two daughters Rita Kelly and husband Kenny of Leadwood, Kathy Dane and husband Mike of Ironton; brother Gary Mitchell and wife Sharon of Desloge; special friends Marty and Marsha Stringer of Mineral Point; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Payne officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Vernon Logan, Dennis Kelly, Joshua Mahurin, Marty Stringer, David Klekamp and Scottie Mahurin.

Interment and final prayers were held at Bismarck Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
