Louis Outhouse

Louis Doyle Outhouse of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on July 8, 2007 at Potosi Manor Nursing Home, having reached the age of 95 years, 10 months and 7 days. He was born on September 1, 1911 at Patoka, IL, a son of the late Joseph Outhouse and Josephine Hails.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Smith; two daughters, Betty Jane Chrusciel, Sharon Ely; a brother, Paul Outhouse; four half-brothers and four half-sisters.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Wayne Campbell, Carl Chrusciel, Larry Hayden, Dan Hayden, Stephen Hayden and Michael Hayden.

Interment and final prayers were held at Woodlawn Cemetery, DeSoto, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
