Loretta Sansoucie

Loretta Lou ?Brenda? Sansoucie of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on November 14, 2008 at her residence, having reached the age of sixty eight years and 24 days. She was born on October 21, 1940 at St. Louis, Misosuri, a daughter of the late LuLu Smith, Pearl Jones and Henry Jones.

She was united in marriage on March 9, 1973 to Charles Sansoucie and they shared 35 years together. They were blessed with one son Charles Sansoucie, Jr and blessed with five daughters from Loretta?s first marriage.

She excepted the Lord Jesus into her life in 1974. She loved going to garage sales, reading her bible, writing and playing on her computer. She was a friend who was there for anyone who needed an ear to listen or if you just needed a friend, she was there.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by one son, William Freeman; five daughters, Brenda Huber, Terry Pearl Majors, Ginger Freeman, Fontella Freeman, Tammy Freeman; one granddaughter Amber Rogers; one sister Beverly; father in law Tuey Sansoucie.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband Charles Sansoucie of Cadet; one son Charles Sansoucie, Jr and wife Kelly of Eolia, Missouri; one sister Darlene Pashia and husband Charles of Fenton; five brothers Tex Smith wife Shirley of Bourbon; Donny Smith and wife Fontella of Bourbon; Benny Smith and wife Bonita of Cedar Hills; Randy Smith of House Springs; Johnny Smith and wife Judy of House Springs; mother in law Marcella Sansoucie of Cadet; 22 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; Best Friends Cathy Laws of Potosi and Janet Denny of West Plains; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel of Potosi, with Rev. Don Strauser officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Benny Smith, Den Eckhoff, Dave Sansoucie, Mike Sansoucie, Danny Smith, Tex Smith.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
