Loretta Brewer

Loretta Hamby Brewer of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on February 7, 2012 at her residence having reached the age of sixty five years, three months and twenty eight days. She was born on October 10, 1946 at Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late Luther Hamby and Rose (Barton) Hamby.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by a daughter Lynetta McCoy; two sisters Velma Hamby, Norma Hamby; five brothers Luther William Hamby, Jr., Vernon Lee Hamby, Ronald Jerry Hamby, Orville Wayne Hamby and Walter Don Hamby.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a daughter Kim (Phillip) Evans of Potosi; four brothers Bob Hamby of Cadet, Pete Hamby of Cadet, Kenny (Kay) Hamby of Cadet, Danny (Lou) Hamby of Cadet; six sisters Dorothy Mosier of Potosi, Beulah DeClue of Mineral Point, Mary Pollock of Mineral Point, Verna (Carl) Crocker of Mineral Point, Annetta (Ralph) Drake of Kansas City, Missouri, Kathy (Jim) Jarvis of Mineral Point; grandsons Caleb McCoy and fiancé Sara; Cory McCoy and wife Laura; Rocky McCoy; great grandson Cade McCoy; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 1 PM at DeClue Chapel with Bro. Jeff Richards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Caleb McCoy, Cory McCoy, Rocky McCoy, David Jarvis, Chris Clapp and Bobby Hamby.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Rose Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
