Lois Harmon

January 2, 1927 — January 13, 2009

Lois Margaret Harmon of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on January 13, 2009 at Missouri Baptist Hospital having reached the age of eighty two years and eleven days. She was born on January 2, 1927 a daughter to the late Fred Brashear and Blanche Hammock Brashear.

Lois attended the Potosi First Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Harmon; three sisters Nettie Seal, Frenchie Fisher and Georgia Seeley; and one brother James Brashear.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are a daughter Debra Parmley and husband Hurshel of Potosi; sons Gary Harmon and wife Dorothy of Potosi; Rodney Harmon and wife Susan of Peidmont; Michael Harmon and wife Mary of Pevely; Randy Harmon of Potosi; brothers Bill Brashear and wife Pat of Waynesville; Guy Brashear and wife Wilma of Ohio; Bob Brashear and wife Betty of Ohio; sisters June Pelton and husband Henry of Ohio; Chloe Cole of Ohio; ten grandchildren; Gary Lynn Harmom and wife Chris, Brian Harmon and wife Gwen, Michelle Tubb and husband Jeff, Dawn Emily and husband Wendell, Shannon Lang and husband Kyle, Mikey Harmon and wife Jena, Tom Harmon, Jenny Harmon, Heather Reary and husband Matt, Jonathan Parmley and wife Emily. fourteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1PM at Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Lynn Harmon, Mikey Harmon, Thomas Harmon, Jonathan Parmley, Jeff Tubb, Wendel Emily, Matt Reary, Kyle Lang.

Interment and final prayers were held at High Point Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
