Lloyd Smith

Lloyd Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on February 17, 2013 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center having reached the age of seventy seven years, one month and twenty eight days. He was born on December 20, 1935 in Goose Creek, Missouri a son to the late Luther Smith and Vallie (Cover) Smith.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by a brother Harold Smith.
On November 5, 1998 Lloyd was united in marriage to Judith Mitchell and they shared fourteen years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Judy Smith of Mineral Point; four sons Austin Smith, Christopher Smith, Tyler Smith all of Mineral Point; Wayne Smith of Texas; daughter LaDonna Smith of Florida; four step children Bryan Chadwell of Park Hills, Robert Chadwell of Park Hills, Tammy Holland of Oregon, Tom King of Oregon; grandchildren Robbie, Heather, Melissa, Ryan, Faith, Hope, Ashton and many more; many relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 5 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bernie Crum officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
