Lloyd Mcmahan

September 11, 1947 — April 20, 2010

Lloyd C. McMahan, Sr. departed this life on April 20, 2010 at the Claru Deville Nursing Center having reached the age of sixty two years, seven months and nine days. He was born on September 11, 1947 at Cadet, Missouri a son to the late Douglas McMahan and Irene (Martin) McMahan.

Lloyd served in the United States Army from September 1965 to June 1968.

On March 4, 1970, Lloyd was united in marriage to Mary Lou Miller and they shared forty years together.

Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching western movies and collecting junk.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by a son Lloyd (Tony) McMahan, Jr. and a brother in law Paul Davis.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Mary Lou McMahan of Fredericktown; son Cleveland McMahan and wife Amy of Fredericktown; daughter Trixie St. Clair and husband Michael of Fredericktown; brother Vernon McMahan and wife Debbie of Bismarck; six sisters JoAnn Boyer and husband Martin of Green River, WY; Leslie Hayes and husband Hershel of Farmington; Janet Davis of Farmington; Erma Dennis and husband Danny of Arcadia; Bonnie DeClue and husband Ron of Park Hills; Audra McMahan of Potosi; nine grandchildren Lisa McMahan, Cyndi Martin, Jessica Martin, Drucilla St. Clair, Anthony St. Clair, Makayla St. Clair, Dalton McMahan, Christian McMahan, Kyle Tedder and one great granddaughter Ryleigh Griffin; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted April 23, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Scott Meeks officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Charles Rodgers, Jeffery Husky, Vincent Schutte, Jeromy McClanahan, Perry Rodgers, Joseph St. Clair and Donnie Carter. Honorary pallbearers Dalton McMahan and Christian McMahan.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Follis & Sons Funeral Home and DeClue Family Funeral Home.
