Lindell Merril Yarbrough of Mineral Point, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1940 at Anthonies Mill, Missouri, a son of the late Andrew J. Yarbrough and Mary (Blount) Yarbrough.
Merril, as he was known to family and friends, was a faithful member of the Covenant Grace Church of God. He was a friend to all who knew him and he never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Yarbrough, a sister in-law, Dorothy Yarbrough and a brother in-law, Russell Hilliard.
Those who remain to mourn his passing include his brother, Paul Yarbrough and wife Betty of Potosi, a sister, Jean Hilliard of Sullivan, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Robert Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Kyle Scott, Nolan Schanz, Aaron Vivian, Curtis Callahan, Harvey Price and Steve Kean. Serving as honorary pallbearer was Leo Benson.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted in the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
