Lindell Lewis

Lindell Curtis Lewis, Sr. of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on September 12, 2012 having reached the age of sixty two years, two months and three days. He was born on July 9, 1950 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a son to the late Marshall Lewis and Norma Jean (Hulsey) Lewis McNail.

In addition to his parents, Lindell was preceded in death by a father in law Charles Morgan; step brother Benny McNail and a brother in law Dale Hulsey.

On January 14, 1978, Lindell was united in marriage to Pamela Morgan and they shared thirty four years together.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Pamela Lewis of Mineral Point; son Lindell Lewis and wife Lesia of Potosi; step father Lee McNail of Mineral Point; mother in law Ruth Morgan of Potosi; three brothers Marshall "Homer" Lewis and wife Linda of Vulcan, Missouri; Marcus Lewis and wife Eileen of Valley Mines; Edward Lewis and wife Debra of Mineral Point; two step sisters Carol Hulsey of Bonne Terre; Shelia Canterberry and husband Buddy of Cordell, Oklahoma; step sister in law Nancy McNail of Farmington; sisters in law Sandy Henderson and husband Donald of Belgrade; Rhonda Franklin and husband Keith of Potosi; four grandchildren Amber Lewis; Heather Lewis; Collin Lewis, Jacob Lewis all of Potosi; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Marshall Lewis, Jessie Lewis, Andy Lewis, Jason Overbey, B.J. Smith and Jeremy Rawlins. Honorary pallbearers were Collin Lewis and Jacob Lewis.

Interment and final prayers were held at Furnace Creek Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
