Linda Santschi

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Muriel Neel Santschi, 83, formally of Irondale, announce her passing in the early morning hours of August 2nd, 2023.

Linda was the much loved mother of Barry Santschi, Mechelle (Mike) Mercille, and Brandi (Jeff) Swyers. She was also the highly cherished grandmother of Joshua Santschi, LillyAnn Swyers, and Josie Swyers. She was sadly preceded in death by son Terry Dale Santschi and by Dale, her loving husband of 60 years.

Linda collected and dealt antiquities tor over 50+ years with her husband Dale. She was the ultimate self-taught artist of all genres. Her decorative sketches and home building plans rivaled the best in the business. You would often find her building, deconstructing, decorating her home (and the homes of others), flower gardening, intricately decorating cakes and sugar cookies, upcycling furniture, hauling antiquity finds across the country, constructing and sewing beautiful clothing tor her children, or just simply planning her next "work of art". She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, inurnment will occur with no formal services.
