Linda Irene Petty of Farmington, Missouri, was born on January 15, 1953 in Bonne Terre, MO, a daughter of the late James Dye and the late Henrietta (Roux) Dye. Linda went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 31, 2021, having reached the age of sixty-eight years, nine months, and sixteen days.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Tami (Steve) Neece, Allan Petty Schokker; six grandchildren: Matthew (Emily) Evans, Riley Neece-Petty, Holly (Charlie) Cain, Dylan Neece, Ben Neece, and Lily Neece; great grandchild, TJ Evans; siblings: Daniel (Marion) Dye, and Rita Becker; additional siblings: Delores Umfleet, Janet (Gene) Thomas, Gary (Carol) Petty, John (Shonda) Petty, Marie (Dan) Bullock, Mark Petty, Danny Petty, Debby (Mark) Graf. Linda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Henrietta Dye; husband, Paul Petty; siblings: Marietta (Bruce) LaPlante; father and mother-in-law, Lovell and Mary Marie Petty; additional siblings: Clyde Petty, Judy (Donnie) Upchurch.
Linda loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and wanted everybody to know, “Let’s Go Brandon!”
A Visitation for Linda will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 11 am to 1 pm at The Sheppard’s House Church located at 6375 Eagle St, Desloge, MO 63601.
A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 1 pm with Rev. Gary Petty officiating.
