Linda Christopher

Linda Carroll (Wiley) Christopher of Victorville, California, departed this life and passed into eternal life on October 4, 2007, at the Desert Valley Medical Center in Victorville, California, after an extended illness, at the age of 68. She was born on March 8, 1939 at Leadwood, Missouri a daughter of Rev. Herbert and Wilma Wiley.

Linda was united in marriage to Robert Edward Christopher on January 7, 1956 at Desoto, Missouri. Linda accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 5 and lived her life accordingly. She remained true to her convictions and faith throughout her life, was exemplary in her love, giving, caring for her family and others. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. Linda was preceded in death by her brother Herbert Paul Wiley on September 8, 1946.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her loving husband and selfless care giver Robert Christopher of Victorville, California; her daughter Lois Elaine Arnold and husband Don of Victorville, California; two sons Darin Lee Christopher and wife Nancy of Victorville and Jonathan Joseph Christopher of Victorville; two grandsons Christopher Wayne Arnold and wife Amy of Lewisville, Texas and Michael Alexander Christopher of Victorville; her Parents Rev. Herbert and Wilma Wiley of Belgrade; brothers Glen Wiley of Garner, Kansas and Linn Wiley of Kansas City, Missouri; a special Aunt Mary Ostertag of Fairview Heights, IL; Special cousin Virginia Wimer, husband Robert and daughter Jessica of Belgrade and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Pacific Time, Saturday October 13, 2007 at the Jubilee Community Church, Victorville, California with Rev. Ray Gimme officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade with Rev. David Comfort officiating. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
