Lilly Pidcock

Lilly Jane Pidcock of Steelville, Missouri departed this life September 11, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of seventy four years, seven months and twenty six days. She was born on January 16, 1936 at Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late Jess Eckhoff and Ellen (Emily) Eckhoff.

In addition to her parents, Lilly was preceded in death by her husband Walter E. Pidcock; daughter Lilly Diane Eckhoff; three sons David Pidcock, Walter Pidcock, and Jimmy Dale Pidcock; brother Jesse Eckhoff; two sisters Mandy Missey and Marjorie Jackson.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Michael Pidcock and wife Evelyn of Cadet; four daughters Ellen Halbert and husband Donnie of Steelville; Sally Brooks and husband Wayne of Villa Ridge, Missouri; Jenie Hanson and husband Robert of Indiana; Jennifer King and husband Brian of Kansas City; three brothers Willard “Bub” Eckhoff and wife Theresa of Cadet; “Dag” Eckhoff of Cadet; Gary Eckhoff of Cadet; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday September 13, 2010 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. John Frazier officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Donnie Halbert, Robert Henson, Jim Robart, McKinley Griggs, Matthew Eckhoff and Wayne Brooks.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
