Lillie Faye Pierce of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on August 13, 2014 at her residence having reached the age of eighty one years, one month and twenty seven days. She was born on June 17, 1933 in Lexington, Tennessee a daughter to the late Frank Hays and Azzora (Maness) Hays.
In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by six sisters Dora, Nora Mae, Dean, Polly, Bethelene and Neva.
On July 16, 1954, Lillie was united in marriage to Harold Pierce and they shared sixty years of marriage.
Lillie was a member of the Potosi First Assembly of God Church.
Lillie is survived by her husband Harold Pierce of Potosi; one daughter Pamela Jarvis and husband Michael of Potosi; one brother Claudia Hays of Memphis, Tennessee; two grandchildren Shannon Edgar and husband David of Eureka, Michelle Wallis and husband Eric of Steelville; eight great grandchildren Trenton, Tate, Trey, Caleb, Trevor, Avery, Carter and Cameron; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Bro. Gary Petty officiating. Serving as pallbearers were David Edgar, Eric Wallis, Caleb Parry, Trevor Wallis, Jerry Whittington and Chris Hall. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Gary Greenlee, Lloyd Peirce and Trenton Edgar.
Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
