Lillie Maxine O’Neail of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on July 21, 2016 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center having reached the age of seventy five years. She was born on September 24, 1940, in Washington County, a daughter to the late Herbert Stringer and the late Mildred Leona (Lachance) Stringer.
Lillie is survived by her sisters: Faye Gamble and husband Kenneth of Mineral Point, Sue Suttles and husband Joe of Mineral Point, and Lillian Midgett of DeSoto; sisters-in-law: Pauline Stringer of Naples, Florida, and Delana Stringer of Potosi; and dear friend: Arthur Sancegraw of Mineral Point.
In addition to her parents, Lillie is preceded in death by her first husband, George Reeves; sister, Janet Goodson and husband Billy; brothers: Jerry Stringer, Ralph Stringer, Robert Stringer, and Herbert “Grassy” Stringer and wife Bert; and her brother-in-law, Ellis Midgett.
Visitation for Lillie was held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 25, 2016, beginning at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ardell Gray officiating.
Honoring Lillie by serving as her pallbearers were Leah Smith, John Smith, Crystal Suttles, Sean Smith, Stanley Suttles, and Cody Smith.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements for Lillie and her family during this time of remembrance.
