Levi Wands

Levi Andrew Wands of Potosi, Missouri departed this life to be with Jesus on January 16, 2008 at Children?s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of one month and eighteen days. He was born on November 29, 2007 at St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Rev. Michael Lynn Wands and Carrie Joy (Coverstone) Wands.

He was born the week after Thanksgiving and what a blessing to give thanks for. He touched many lives the short time he was here and gave loved ones so much pleasure just to know him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eldon Wands.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his parents, Michael and Carrie Wands of Potosi; his grandparents, Donna Wands of Brook, Indiana, Lynn and Carol Coverstone of Washington, Illinois; two brothers, Arthur and Caleb Wands of Potosi; a sister, Clara Wands of Potosi; aunts; uncles; cousins and many other relatives and new friends who will sadly miss this blessed child.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 10 AM at the Potosi Southern Baptist Church, Potosi, Missouri, with Rev. John Edwards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Mitchell Coverstone, Mason Coverstone and honorary pallbearer, Jalen Redburn.

Interment and final prayers were held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
