Leslie Bailey

Leslie Bailey of Potosi, Missouri passed away November 9, 2007, at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, having reached the age of seventy-one years, ten months and nine days. He was born at Potosi, Missouri on December 31, 1935, a son of the late Gus Bailey and Lillian Florence (Wilson) Bailey.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Potosi. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by three brothers, Gus Bailey, Jr., Eugene Bailey and Russell Bailey.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his sisters, Wilma Elliott of Potosi, Anna Bell Akers and husband Fred of Fort Morgan, Colorado; his brothers, Howard Bailey of Lincoln, Illinois, Austin Bailey of Potosi, Carl Bailey of Arthur City, Texas; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jeff Richards and Rev. Dale Blount officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Paul Eye, Virgil Todd, Jack Wilkerson, Don Pittman, Josh Cantrell and Vern Cooper.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
