Leonard Lahmann

Leonard Russell Lahmann of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on March 10, 2008 at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of eighty years, eight months and five days. He was born at Potosi, Missouri on July 5, 1927, a son of the late Edgar Orville Lahmann and Alice Susan (Charboneau) Lahmann.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sons, Charles Lee Lahmann and James Russell Lahmann; four brothers, George Lahmann, Howard Earl Lahmann, Virgil Lahmann, Archie Lahmann; and a sister, Wilma Ruth ?Judy? Lahmann.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife, Betty Lahmann of Potosi; his daughter, Carol Jean Bryson and husband, Bill of Dublin, CA; his sister, Lorene Marler of Potosi; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 11 AM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Melvin Reed officiating. Serving as pallbearers were David Marler, Virgil Ruby, John Pyatt, Brandon Lahmann, Louis Minor, Patrick Smith, Gary Griggs and Richard Shafer.

Interment and final prayers were held at White Oak Grove Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
