Leonard Boyster

Leonard Franklin Boyster of Shirley, Missouri was born on February 28, 1939, a son to the late Ralph E. Boyster and the late Evelyn (Revelle) Boyster. On April 18, 1959, Leonard was united in marriage to Reva Wade and three children were born to this union. After Reva's passing, Leonard married Brickey (Isgriggs) Harmon on September 11, 2009. Leonard went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, April 27, 2019 having reached the age of eighty years, one month and thirty days.

In addition to his father and mother, Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Reva Boyster; five brothers: Jack, Everette, Bill, Junior and Robert; one sister, Peggy Boyster; sisters-in-law: Elsie, Rose and Darlene Boyster; brothers-in-law: Vern Wade and Walter Richards.

Survivors include his wife, Brickey Boyster; three children: Donna Boyster, Stanley (Pam) Boyster, Amy (Randy) Reed; five step children: Bridgett (Bryce) Wilson, Beverly (Bud) Rea, Larry Jr. (Patti) Harmon, Tim (Tabitha) Harmon, Beth (Colin) Rogers; seven siblings: Ronnie (Betty) Boyster, John (Carol) Boyster, Janie Wade, Letty Mae Richards, Pat Govero and Kay, Nancy Bouse, Debbie (Danny) Skaggs; six grandchildren: Joshua Sheets, Caleb (Hilary) Sheets, Annie Sheets, Andrew Reed, Jacob Reed, Jody Boyster; five great grandchildren: Matthew, Sophee, Emma, Annabell, and Paige; also surviving are a host of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Lorene and Joan Boyster; special friends: Butch and Mae Rulo; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 9-11 AM at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11 AM held at the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Robert Wade officiating.

Interment will follow in the Boyster Cemetery, Shirley, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
